Factory Service Training

The ability to diagnose a problem and repair it quickly and effectively is critical to maintaining the uptime performance of a forklift and the satisfaction of our customer.

UniCarriers Americas’ College of Technical Service was created to establish our authorized dealership service technicians as the most highly skilled in the industry by encouraging continued training, professional growth and technician recognition.

Training is conducted through hands-on sessions, classroom lectures and online courses — a hybrid approach that allows individuals to learn in the manner that’s most effective for them.

Technicians can achieve three levels of certification — Apprentice, Journeyman and Master Technician. Each successive level requires more education and carries additional responsibilities, including ASE certifications.

With an average of 25 years experience, our staff of technical instructors is prepared to provide comprehensive service training for your maintenance department on all the latest advances in UniCarriers Americas engineering.

Operator Training

Workplace safety and productivity can only be achieved by a driver who is knowledgeable, confident and skilled in forklift operations. To support our forklifts and our customers, UniCarriers Americas has developed a formal operator training program that includes:

·World-class forklift instructors — a dedicated staff of professional trainers who not only have vast experience and in-depth knowledge of forklift operations, but also know how to communicate it to your drivers in a clear, concise and memorable way.

·A detailed curriculum and hands-on training — to provide your operators with the practical knowledge and skill set to operate safely, effectively and in compliance with OSHA-mandated regulations.

OSHA Compliance

Each student will cover OSHA standard 1910.178 regulations, including lift truck operation, pre-operation inspection of the lift truck and work area, fueling procedures and load handling. By the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate practical lift truck operation skills within the guidelines established by OSHA to receive a certificate of training completion.*
